Disable Registration and Guest Ticket Creation

If you want to restrict ticket creation to registered users only, you can disable both the registration form and guest ticket creation options in Support Genix. This ensures that only registered users can create tickets, enhancing control over your support system. Additionally, you can choose to allow registration while disabling guest ticket creation for faster user management.

Step 1: Disable Guest Ticket Creation and Registration Form #

  1. Navigate to Support Genix Settings:
    • Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
    • Navigate to Support Genix > Settings > General > Main.
  1. Disable Guest Ticket Creation: Find the option “Disable guest ticket creation” and toggle it ON.
  2. Disable Registration Form: Find the option “Disable registration form” and toggle it ON.

This will disable the registration form completely.

Step 2: Allow Registration but Restrict Guest Ticket Creation #

If you want to allow registration for users while restricting guest ticket creation:

Disable Guest Ticket Creation Only: From Support Genix > Settings > General > Main, toggle “Disable guest ticket creation” to ON.

Step 3: Ensure WordPress Default Registration is Disabled (Optional) #

To restrict registration across your WordPress site:

  1. Go to Dashboard > Settings > General.
  2. Under Membership, ensure the option “Anyone can register” is unchecked.
